ABOUT THE STUDIO...
 

Founded in 2023 by me , Emiel lierman 18/02/1994

The studio operates at the intersection of furniture, objects, and fabrication.

Its practice moves freely between functional furniture and more autonomous, collectible pieces — using material, form, and process as ways of exploring ideas rather than following a fixed category.
 

Metal sits at the centre of the work, not only as a material but as a language. The studio is interested in the tension between its industrial character and the unexpected things it can become. Familiar fabrication processes — cutting, bending, punching, welding — are treated less as limitations and more as possibilities for experimentation.
 

The workshop is an extension of this approach, providing a space to develop and produce original work while collaborating on interiors and creative projects where conventional solutions are rarely the most interesting ones.
 

There is a certain playfulness in the process: taking something precise and industrial and seeing how far it can be pushed, distorted, or reimagined.
